how do you read an electric meter?

fuel prices are going up
these ones are up there literally

so how do you read them?
grab a ladder and climb safely

if you don't put them there
they'll be prone to larceny

when they're out of reach
it will prevent stealing hopefully

still they are very eager
and criminals will always try

but without the proper gear
they may just suffer injury

anyway, you don't really care
strategic place for security

so go and get the meter reading
but please charge appropriately

but how do you read electric meters?
please tell me honestly

sipit

hindi kayo ang mga sipit na kinagisnan ko
sila'y gawa sa kahoy, kayo'y gawa sa plastik at alambre
sila'y simple lamang, kayo'y kumplikado
mas matibay kung ihahambing sa inyo

pero nasaan na kaya sila
puro kayo na lang ang nakikita ko
sila siguro'y magastos at mahirap gawin
habang kayo'y mura't sandali lang buuin

sa alambreng pinagiiwanan
naghihintay ng mga basang damit
pantulog o panggala, panloob man o panlabas
sila'y pinatutuyo habang kayo'y kumukupas

ang sipit nagbago man ang anyo
ang materyales pati ang disenyo
maliliit pero kayo'y mahalagang bagay
halina't dami pang sisipitan sa loob ng bahay

Birthday Song

If I could say the things I feel, it wouldn't be the same
Some things are not spoken of, some things have no name
And though the words come hard to me, I'll say them just for you
For this is something rare for me this feeling is so new
You see I love the way you love me
Love the way you smile at me,
I love the way we live this life we're in
Long ago I heard the song that lovers sing to me
And through the days with each new phrase I hummed that melody
And all along I loved the song but I never learned it through
But since the day you came along, I've saved it just for you
You see I love the way you love me
Love the way you smile at me,
I love the way we live this life we're in
I don't believe in magic but I do believe in you
And when you say you believe in me
There's so much magic I can do
Now you see me now you don't watch me dive below
Deep down in your love lake where the sweet fish come and go
And I might sink and I might drown but death don't mean a thing
'Cause life continues right or wrong when I play this birthday song
I learned from you, and you can't even sing

Birds

Lover,
there will be another one
Who'll hover
over you beneath the sun
Tomorrow
see the things that never come
Today

Nestled
in your wings my little one
This special
morning brings another sun
Tomorrow
see the things that never come
Today

When you see me
Fly away without you
Shadow on the things you know
Feathers fall around you
And show you the way to go
It's over, it's over.

"Alas," said an Indian, "I once had a home
In a fair forest glade where the wild deer did roam
Where the socamite feast on a festival day
But the steals of a white man have took them away"...

Ryokan, a Zen master, lived the simplest kind of life in a little hut at the foot of a mountain. One evening a thief visited the hut only to discover there was nothing in it to steal.
Ryokan returned and caught him. "You may have come a long way to visit me," he told the prowler, "and you shoud not return emptyhanded. Please take my clothes as a gift." The thief was bewildered. He took the clothes and slunk away.
Ryokan sat naked, watching the moon. "Poor fellow, " he mused, "I wish I could give him this beautiful moon."
